A deep exploration of the experiences, contributions, and challenges faced by deaf youth throughout history, emphasizing their resilience and the role they play in shaping the future of the deaf community.
Call for Proposals
Types of Proposals
- Presentations: Topics such as deaf education, youth activism, cultural heritage, and technological innovations.
- Posters: Research methodologies, collecting deaf historical artifacts, and creating museums or archives.
- Films: Short films (up to 3 minutes) or long documentaries (up to 30 minutes) focusing on historical events or testimonies.
Supported Languages
International Sign (IS), Flemish Sign Language (VGT), French Belgian Sign Language (LSFB), and spoken English. Other languages require self-arranged interpreters.
Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: February 14, 2025
- Acceptance Notifications: March 10, 2025
- Final Materials Deadline: July 20, 2025
